HILLTOP UPDATER ONLINE ! |

The 2016 Hilltop Winter Party and brief business meeting were held at the home
of Ahmed and Bibi Meer.
The meeting was called to order by President Ron Stern.
Carol Simon has stepped down as Treasurer, but will continue as Landscape Chair.
Len Schuchman volunteered to serve as Interim Treasurer during the last Board
meeting in November. He announced that all 2015 dues had been paid except for
one. There is currently $6,000 in the bank account, a healthy balance for the
maintenance of the hill. He will email reminders of 2016 dues to be paid
and said they should be paid no later than the end of June.
Manning Feinleib suggested that the community look into having our masses of
leaves picked up and removed by a commercial firm. Ron Stern asked that this be
brought up at our July meeting and said that he might look into this
possibility.
Congratulations to Ron for obtaining the light at the bottom of the hill from
the County.
New neighbors Rob and Barbara Nooter, moving into the Fenton's house, attended
the party and the business meeting and were warmly welcomed by all.
Lisa and Bob Fenton attended representing their mother, Roz.
The beautiful book of photos and written farewells and well wishes, which had
been created by Lance and Donna Optican, with contributions from many neighbors,
was presented by Carol Leahy to Lisa and Bob to be given to Roz.
It was reported that Bob Allgaier had suffered an injury and been taken first to
the hospital and later moved to Casey Hospice. We offer heartfelt expressions
of sympathy to Nancy, Eric and Stephanie.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:15 pm.
Bob Allgaier passed away on January 9.
